GEARING UP FOR 2009

The Stillwater Outlaws held their first signup of the year on October 25th. 35 guys came out and joined the team. Many of them were able to make it to the tryout as well. The next signup date will be November 15th at 2:00pm at the Outlaw Hideout in North Couch Park. This will be an opportunity to come fill out paperwork and pay league fees. At 3:00pm, the coaches will lead all the paid players through a walk through of how practice will be setup and ran. They will step through the offensive game plan as well as the defensive alignments and work with putting players into possible positions. The walk through practice will probably last til 5:00pm

If you have not paid your league fees in full, the total due is $150. Players who have not paid their $150 by November 15th will have to pay a late fee. All players will need to be paid in full by the first practice in December to be able to parctice with the team. You will not need pads or equipment on November 15th. Those won't be necessary until the first practice on December 6th.

If you plan on playing offense, bring a 3-ring binder as we will be giving you a 27 sheet playbook to take home with you. We'll add to it as we go, but we'll start you off with 27 sheets and you will leave the tryout/signup with a good start on the playbook. ALSO - if you have already signed up and did not pick up the offensive playbook and would like to get a copy of it, contact Coach Karey at (405) 762-1137. If you are on defense, you won't need to get a 3-ring binder.

OUTLAWS NAME 2009 COACHING STAFF

The Stillwater Outlaws released the preliminary lineup of coaches for the 2009 season. There were several position and title changes as well as the welcoming of new staff members and the departing of others. Jeff Tabish, head coach from 2008, remains with the team as coaching development coordinator. Below is a list of the coaches and titles.

OUTLAWS WELCOME NEW TEAMS TO THE OMFL

The Stillwater Outlaws would like to welcome the new teams that have recently joined the Oklahoma Metro Football League. These teams include the Ada Blitz (there former Ada Outlawz), the Oklahoma Diamondbacks, Tulsa Knights, Oklahoma Maddogs, and Del City Silverbacks.
